GOOGLE ADSENSE - one of the best (and biggest ) ad networks on the Internet.I reccommend it to most people.Adsense is very simple.Registration is short , the only long thing with Adsense is website approval which can last from 7-10 working days.Getting ads html code is also very short.
The only downside of Adsense is the ads design,I don't like it very much and there is a big chance you won't too .
TLA - A.K.A TEXT LINK ADS. The ad network that you can use for 2 things :
- Advertising - you pay and TLA will place text link to your site on some site that has
better traffic than you do.So you will make a profit from this. Have a look !
SELLING ADS ON YOUR SITE
When you get some reputation on the Internet and visitors per day you can offer ad space on your site/blog.This can bring you big profit but don't raise the price too much.
The most seen sold add has 125 * 125 dimensions.
SELLING PRODUCTS
You can sell your own products or affilate products.If you plan to sell your product ,have in mind that it should be unique.Think like this , if you see the product you sell somewhere else ,think if you would buy it ?
If you plan to sell affilate products,also try to find something unique.

In short,you make money by reviewing and promoting other products.

ADBRITE
Second biggest ad network,very similar to Google Adsense.
You can also check out services like AdTool,WidgetBucks,PayPerPost - google them and find out more.
